





Conservation Carousel at the Denver Zoo in Denver, CO
History: This new wooden carousel was built in 2000 by Carousel Works of Mansfield, Ohio. Also known as the Endangered Species Carousel, it has 3 rows of 48 hand-carved figures of various endangered species and 2 chariots.
Carousel ticket sales go toward conservation efforts of endangered animals.
Unique Figures: A mother polar bear with 2 cubs is a tribute to the cubs, Klondike and Snow, who were born at the Denver Zoo in 1995.
